fresh Attend the Imperial Leather Launch

When myself and my fellow digital team member at fresh, Katie were invited by PZ Cussons  to the Imperial Leather launch party, we were really excited to go along. It was my first one so I didn’t know what to expect! The launch was about the new collaboration between The Seashell Trust and PZ Cussons as they re-launched their famous Imperial Leather “Original Soap Bar” in which every bar sold PZ Cussons promise to make a donation to the Seashell Trust.

We arrived to be greeted with friendly faces as well as some we didn’t recognise but we soon made friends as everyone was so nice and there for the same reason, to support The Seashell Trust on a very special day.

We were offered a drink by one of the students and his carer and listened to a young boy share his story about how the Seashell Trust had helped him over the years caring for his two brothers and giving rest bite to him and his Mum. It was really heart-warming to hear he’d raised £80,000 himself over the years for the charity – we were amazed!

Imperial Leather are hoping to raise over £100,000 over a 12 month period which will go towards two new multi-sensory rooms at the charity. These rooms, once completed will be used by hundreds of young children and adults and their families. They will play an important role in developing life skills, motor skills, colour recognition, tracking and help with their communication skills.

We’d like to congratulate PZ Cussons and our sponsored charity the Seashell Trust on their new collaboration and wish them all the best in raising money for the new multi-sensory rooms as we continue to support them in this campaign.
