Why

In June 2015 fresh delivered the first ever Dixons Carphone UK & Ireland combined event with their top 2,000 management teams, driving understanding and direction, as well as engagement and recognition – signaling the start of Dixons Carphone’s annual conferences going forward.

In addition to the plenary sessions, an interactive exhibition area was produced showcasing a variety of internal initiatives for the colleagues to engage with and learn more about.

How

Held at The NEC, Birmingham for 2000 colleagues, fresh worked closely with Dixons Carphone to develop engaging formats to bring the content to life.

We created the event look and feel used across signage, screen content and film, launching the Power of One theme that represented the two brands coming together for the first time.

This important message was considered and reinforced in all areas, including layout, content delivery and digital interactivity, where colleagues could send feedback throughout the day.

What

fresh worked closely with the Dixons Carphone team to develop the content and messaging for the events. We provided full delegate management support for both pre-event and onsite management.

fresh developed the look and feel of the event and provided full technical production, creative, digital interactivity, exhibition management, and film and content support.

The event was a huge success and reinforced the Power of One message, inspiring colleagues with content that they took back to their teams and stores.

The results of a post-event survey confirmed this, showing that the key messages from the event were clearly received and cascaded back to the wider teams.
