Cardano – Consensus

The cryptocurrency making a stand for the right reasons

In 2022 17,000 people descended on Texas to attend the world’s biggest and longest-running crypto festival, Consensus. As one of the biggest players in the industry, Cardano wanted a strong presence to raise awareness of their cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

We went above and beyond to make it as carbon neutral as possible

Working in close partnership with Cardano, the brief was to produce an award-winning, environmentally friendly exhibition stand that would blow the competition out of the water. After many long days and late evening calls, our Production team arrived onsite for delivery day – and the pressure was on.

With just 12 hours to rig a complex build (that would normally take two days), our 40-person strong crew created a bespoke custom-built exhibition stand with a large living wall, presentation space, casual seating for eight people, and areas for meetings and refreshments. As well as rigging 192 LED panels and lighting!

Not only was it incredibly eye-catching against a sea of formulaic stands, but we went above and beyond to make it as carbon neutral as possible. We worked with local suppliers to find the most sustainable materials, created elements that can be recycled and reused, donated the plants from the living wall to local communities, and recycled the outer set vinyl into tote bags.
